This privacy notice and Terms will help you understand how 7C3 uses and protects your personal data. We are Seven Publishing Group Limited T/A 7C3 registered in England and Wales at 4th Floor, 95 Chancery Lane, London, WC2A 1DT with company number 04809240. How we collect your data
We mainly only process the data you have provided to us directly or by Sainsbury’s. This may be from:
Filling in a form on our website
Sending us your details when subscribing to our magazine or signing up for promotions and newsletters
Providing your details to us at events or in other promotions
If you belong to an organisation, we may also source your information from public databases and other sources.
What data we collect
We try and minimise the data held and the exact data elements we hold will be dependent on your journey with us. You may be signing up to our newsletter for tasty recipe ideas or benefiting from a subscription to our magazine, entering a competition, writing to our editor or other communications. Depending on this the data you provide will vary. In most cases we will limit the data we have about you to the following:
Your personal contact details – name, title, email address, billing and home address or nominated address of the subscriber, IP Address, phone number, subscription number;
Transmitted information – such as emails, texts, messaging, phone call information and recordings, voice mails, email should you contact us or our agents by phone or email.
Subscription payment information – sort code, bank account number and account holder name. Calls may also be recorded for information holding, quality and training purposes. This website and any subscriptions, promotions or other activities that include us processing your details is for those 18 and over only. We do not wish to collect any personal information from children under 13. If you are gifting a subscription, or signing someone up to the newsletter you accept that you will have permission (consent) to use that person’s personal data and accept liability for disclosure.

How we process your data
Data is processed/stored mainly on encrypted cloud services such Microsoft 365, Azure, BOX.com and our marketing platforms. As a multinational service provider, we operate in a number of jurisdictions. We use the following safeguards with respect to data transferred outside the UK and European Union where an “adequacy decision” is not in place:
The processing is within the same corporate group as our business or organisation and is obligated to uphold the same standards of Data Protection and Security as our UK entity.
Further to Section 119A of the Data Protection Act 2018 and noting Case C-311/18 in the European Court of Justice, if your data is transferred or processed outside of the UK or EEA we ensure the safeguards of International Data Transfer Agreements (IDTAs) or Addendums are enforced. Where this is not possible, we ensure that European Standard Contractual Clauses are entered. We regularly review suppliers for data security compliance to ensure your data is safe and track where your data is held. All our processes are subject to various internal policies to ensure that your data privacy and security is upheld.

Dependant on the data you provide us and for what purpose it is provided we may need to retain your data based on your journey with us. Typically, we will retain your data for 3 years following our last engagement with you, for example if you unsubscribe or cancel a subscription. Data permissions
Every marketing email sent from Us allows you to opt out of receiving emails from us, except for the purposes of fulfilling any contractual arrangements. You can also contact us at the email address above and request to opt out, view, export or delete your data. If you request for your data to be deleted, your name and email address will be added to an exceptions list and all other data removed to the extent possible.

The content of the Website is protected by copyright, trade marks, database and other intellectual property rights which are owned by 7C3 and/or Sainsbury's. You may retrieve and display the content of the Website on a computer screen, store such content in electronic form or print one copy of such content for your own personal, non-commercial use, provided you keep intact all and any copyright and proprietary notices. You may not otherwise reproduce, modify, copy or distribute or use for commercial purposes any of the materials or content on the Websites without written permission from 7C3.
Warranty and Indemnity
Legal compliance
We seek to uphold our legal obligations as covered by the Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulation 2016. Our Data Protection Authority is designated as the ICO and where we’re registered as a Controller. This Notice was last revised on 18th May 2023. We will post the most current version on our website. Competition clauses
The following additional terms and conditions apply to all prize draws featured on the Website and within Sainsbury's Magazine. Depending on the nature of the prize draw, the competition or draw may have additional rules. Please refer to each individual draw for details.
1. Prize draws and giveaways are open to readers of Sainsbury's Magazine and/or the Website who are residents of the UK and aged 18 and over, except employees of Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd or the Sainsbury's group of companies, Seven Publishing Group Limited, their agents or anyone professionally connected to these prize draws and the immediate family members of all persons referred to in this clause.
2. 7C3 will only accept one entry per person and will not accept third-party or bulk entries.
3. Postal or phone entries will not be accepted for online-only prize draws.
4. No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are illegible, incomplete, delayed, damaged, wrongly delivered or not received for whatever reason. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt of entry.
5. The prizes are non-transferable, must be accepted as offered, and there is no cash alternative.
6. Winner(s) will be notified by post within 28 days of the closing date. An independent person will draw the winning entries.
7. 7C3's decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
8. 7C3 reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value should circumstances make this necessary.
9. Winner(s) may be required to take part in publicity resulting from these prize draws.
10. All reasonable attempts will be made to contact the winner(s). However, if prizes are not claimed within six weeks of the closing date, a redraw will take place.
11. Winner(s)' names and counties are available 28 days after the closing date. Send an SAE to Prize Draws, Sainsbury's magazine, 145 City Rd, Hoxton, London, EC1V 1AZ.
12. The promoter is Seven Publishing Group Limited T/A 7C3 registered in England and Wales at Hyde Park House, 5 Manfred Road, London, United Kingdom, SW15 2RS, unless otherwise stated.
13. By entering the prize draw, the entrant agrees to be bound by the rules, privacy policy and by any other requirements set out in the promotional material accompanying the promotion.
14. Personal details submitted by entrants will be used only for the purpose of administering promotions and will not be used for marketing or any other reason unless the entrant has consented to such use.
15. 7C3 reserves the right to vary or amend these terms and conditions at any time without notice.
