Higgidy’s range of six delicious new recipe pies is joined by a very special limitededition pie, created in collaboration with TV presenter and comedian Judi Love. Judi’s Braised Beef & Butter Bean Pie in a rich beef gravy with spicy scotch bonnet pepper is available exclusively at Sainsbury’s from 22 January until 8 April.

Judi’s pie recipe is her take on a classic Jamaican recipe and is brimming with succulent beef and full of flavour. Butter shortcrust pastry is generously filled with slow-cooked 100% British beef, butter beans, onions and thyme in a rich scotch bonnet gravy and finished with a delicious all-butter puff pastry and thyme crumb.

The Higgidy pie range also offers six irresistibly tasty meat and veggie options: Creamy Chicken & Sautéed Leek Pie; Slow-Braised Steak & Craft Ale Pie; Slow-Cooked Steak, Red Wine & Bacon Pie; Spinach, Greek Feta & Pine Nut Pie; Roasted Sweet Potato, Spinach & Feta Pie; and Three Cheese, Cauliflower & Broccoli Pie. Pair your favourite with simple sides to create a warming and easy meal that’s just right for a chilly winter’s evening.
