Autumn has arrived and apple and pear season is in full swing. Make the most of it by turning the versatile fruits into these sweet and savoury recipes – roast them, poach them, stew them, or eat them raw!

If you have too many apples and pears and can’t eat them all in time, core and slice them and store in the freezer. They won’t be as good to eat raw, but they’ll still be perfect for cooking and baking throughout winter.
